hydroponic plant stand

this is a work in progress – i’ll post more pictures once i have the plants in place.

this project combines the warmth and beauty of aged copper with an indoor urban garden. the hydro-tower features 8 planting pots, an air-pump water circulation system, and two 100 watt cfl grow lights. it uses the hydroponic system developed by windowfarms.org.

i look forward to growing herbs and veggies for dinner.

Update 3/3/11: system is installed with 4 plants. photos of peppermint and lemon balm doing quite nicely!
